The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) has announced the results of its Spring 2026 project grant competition. Congratulations to all the Djavad Mowafaghian Centre for Brain Health members who were awarded grants, with nine projects receiving over $8 million in funding.
Overall, the CIHR Spring 2026 competition approved 439 research grants for a total investment of over $412 million. In addition, 19 priority announcement grants were funded for a total of $1.9 million. A total of 51 projects led by UBC researchers were awarded more than $45 million. Read the full UBC announcement
