Tareq Yousef

Tareq Yousef holds a PhD in anatomy and neurobiology from Dalhousie University, having produced a thesis on the neuromodulatory properties of nitric oxide in the process of light adaptation in the vertebrate retina. As an Assistant Professor of Teaching at UBC’s Okanagan campus, Tareq’s focus on horizontal cells has become one on pedagogy and curriculum (in neuroscience and beyond) with a special interest in equity in the academy.
