Dr. Kendra Furber is an Assistant Professor in the Northern Medical Program at the University of Northern British Columbia. She received a PhD in Neuroscience from the Hotchkiss Brain Institute at the University of Calgary, and was awarded an MS fellowship from the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada for postdoctoral training at the University of Saskatchewan. She is currently a Health Research BC Scholar, whose research program investigates the molecular mechanisms of myelination across the lifespan.
