Building on the reputation of the Brain Research Centre, the Djavad Mowafaghian Centre for Brain Health (DMCBH) is the culmination of a vision and partnership to advance research and patient care—all under the same roof. The centre brings researchers closer together to accelerate scientific discovery, and it has brought them closer to the patients whose lives they strive to improve.
The centre’s unique approach is also allowing UBC to recruit some of the world’s leading scientists, and is providing students with unprecedented experience in collaboration that could potentially change the future of medicine.
DMCBH is the most comprehensive brain care and research centre in Canada, and has transformed UBC into an international leader in neuroscience research. Read our annual report online, or email firstname.lastname@example.org to request a printed copy.
